More Information (95.3 WIKI is not responsible for external websites)

For the first time in 20 years, rabid skunks have been identified in nearby Clark and Washington counties. Rabies spreading among a skunk population increases the risk for local humans and pets. The virus is spread by a bite from an infected animal and is fatal for unvaccinated dogs and cats. The disease is also fatal for humans if treatment is not promptly started after a bite. Our community's risk can be mitigated by vaccinating the canine and feline population.

Protect your family by ensuring pets are up to date on their rabies vaccination!

Waltz Animal Clinic is holding a $20 rabies clinic (dogs and cats) from 9am-12pm, Saturday, May 4th. Walk-ins welcome or call ahead to reserve your spot: 812-273-6668

During the visit, Dr. Waltz will provide a cursory exam and 1-year rabies vaccination with a tag and certificate. (Additional vaccinations or veterinary services will not be offered during the rabies clinic.)
