Meth And Narcotics Found In Vevay Residence

Two arrested

On 10/02/2019 at approximately 2:18am Deputies with the Switzerland County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at 502 Pearl St. Vevay. A search of the home was conducted, Methamphetamine, Syringes, and Narcotics found within the residence.

The occupants Jerude Iery and Laura Braun were placed under arrest and transported to the Switzerland Co. Jail, both being charged with Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6 Felony, Possession of a Narcotic Level 6 Felony, Possession of Syringes Level 6 Felony, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

The Switzerland County Sheriff’s office was assisted by the Vevay Police Dept, Indiana State Police, and Madison P.D.

Iery and Braun were arraigned at an initial hearing, Braun was released on her own recognizance and Iery received an 800.00 cash bond.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
