MPD Chief Warns to Be Aware of Suspicious Inquiries

Please be aware of the following -  Local law enforcement officers' social media accounts have been hacked, be cautious in responding to any inquiries that look or seem suspicious.  Never give out personal information until you have fully verified the identity of the person requesting it.  

Police Agencies will NEVER call you asking for money in lieu of serving an arrest warrant. Assume all calls and social media contacts are fraudulent, until otherwise verified.  Should you have concerns or questions, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
