Football scrimmages tonight

Southwestern girls golf team won a three-team match shooting a 178. Bella Marcum shot a 42 to lead the Lady Rebels and was medalist. Milan was 2nd with a 214 and Jac-Cen-Del 3rd shooting 261.

Madison girls golf defeated Henryville 199-212. Keara Eder shot 42 to lead the Lady Cubs and medalist honors.

Madison Middle School football split their opening games with South Dearborn last evening with the 8th grade picking up a 28-6 win but the 7th grade fell in a close contest 8-6.

 

It’s high school football Friday night with all three local varsity teams playing scrimmages. Carroll Co. is at Bethlehem, Switzerland Co. at Clarksville and Madison hosts Salem. Regular season begins next Friday.
