Cancelled tour stops to be with family
Lauren Alaina is mourning the loss of her step-dad.
Sam Ramker died yesterday after a short battle with stage four cancer.
The singer reached out to fans on Instagram, calling him the "purest example of how to love and live life fully."
Alaina cancelled a few tour stops in Texas this past weekend so she could spend time with her step-dad during his final days.

She has taught at Shawe Memorial for 25 years
It will also be free fishing day at State Parks on May 4th
