Kentucky Utilities Customers May Soon Pay More For Electricity

Just over eight percent

Kentucky Utilities customers may soon see their rates jump. 

The utility company is asking the Public Service Commission to approve a rate increase of just over eight percent. 

The increase would equal about nine dollars a month, which Kentucky Utilities says it would invest in infrastructure upgrades.
