Press Release from the Office of Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch

STATEHOUSE (March 1, 2022) – Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch today announced that Anne Valentine has been named Chief of Staff of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor's Executive staff.   "Anne brings a wealth of experience to my office, the administration and the Statehouse," Crouch said. "I am excited for her to join my staff and lead my great team already in place.

In her new role, Valentine will oversee the executive office, financial management, operational planning, agency coordination and policy development.

Jodi Golden, current Chief of Staff in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, will begin her duties as state infrastructure administrator in the Indiana Office of Management and Budget later this month.

Prior to joining Crouch's team, Valentine served as vice president of government relations for United Way of Central Indiana where she was responsible for leading the organization's public policy and government relations work at the federal, state and local level.

Valentine has also served as vice president of workforce partnerships for Ivy Tech Community College. She has held numerous positions in the nonprofit and public sector, including former vice president of the Arts Council of Indianapolis and legislative director for the Office of Governor Mitch Daniels.

“Having first worked with Lt. Gov. Crouch when she was a state representative, I have witnessed her leadership and compassion first hand,” Valentine said. “It’s an honor to join the lieutenant governor’s team, build on their great work to date, and ensure the continued implementation of Gov. Holcomb and his administration's priorities.”

Valentine's education includes a bachelor's degree from Butler University and graduate certificate in public management from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

She will begin her new role Monday, March 14.
