Taken into custody without incident
                                 
November 12, 2021, @ 12:45AM Madison Police Patrol Officers Cameron Blankenship and Nichole Midgett executed a traffic stop on Vaughn Drive, for an equipment violation. During the initial interaction with the driver, identified as Jessie K. Colber, officers noted an odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle.
During the subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located methamphetamine, paraphernalia associated with the use of narcotics, and a controlled substance.
Jessie K. Colber 41, Madison, Indiana, was taken into custody without incident. Colber faces preliminary alleged charges of possession of methamphetamine L-6 felony and possession of a controlled substance A misdemeanor. Colber has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
