(Madison, Ind.) - The City of Madison Parks Department is excited to announce the launch of a new and improved recreation program and facilities registration system. This new software, called RecDesk, allows users to create an online ID that will enable easier online registration, recreation program information, and online payments.

"We spent many hours researching different software programs and believe RecDesk is the best platform for our community. The software is user friendly and will allow for facility rentals, program registrations, tee time booking, campground reservations, and much more. The software will also allow for better data management and create more efficiency in the parks department," said Matthew Woolard, City Parks Director.

Visit madisonin.recdesk.com to check out the new site. At this time, users can browse upcoming program offerings, purchase dog park and pickleball memberships, register for girl’s youth basketball and men’s adult basketball, and make campground reservations. The site will be updated as more programming becomes available.

First-time users will begin by clicking "Log In," which will prompt users to create an account. We recommend that the primary user enable "Head of Household" so additional family members can be added to the account. The selection of "Head of Household" is important if you plan to register children for recreation programs. We also recommend selecting the opt-in text alerts option, which will allow for notifications such as cancelations and rescheduling of games and programs. Once an account is created, the user can log in and begin exploring programs, register for available activities, make reservations. Programs can also be explored without an account.
