Crosley Lake will be closed to the public

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has scheduled renovations for Crosley Lake dam, south on Vernon in Jennings County, to begin next month.

Visitors to the Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area will soon see the early stages of the project. Draw down of the lake will begin in April.

During the dam renovation, Crosley Lake will be closed to the public to ensure safety and expedite the process. The project is estimated to be completed in fall 2020. Upon completion, DNR fisheries staff will conduct a survey and stock fish as necessary to restore fish populations.
