Hanover College Women's Basketball and Football

The Hanover women's basketball team was picked as a preseason favorite to win the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The conference released its annual preseason coaches' poll with the Panthers picking up 88 points and one first place vote, good enough for second overall. Defending regular season and tournament champion, Transylvania was awarded the top spot with 90 points and eight first place votes. Hanover tips off the regular season with a trip to Holland, Mich. for the Hope Tip Off Classic on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16. The Hanover women will play only nine games at the Collier Arena this season all HCAC contests.

The Hanover College football team will look to remain undefeated this weekend in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play as they travel to Cincinnati to take on Mount St. Joseph. The Panthers currently sit alone among the top of the conference at 4-0 but nipping at the heals are the Lions of Mount St. Joseph and Rose-Hulman in a tie for second with one loss. The game can be heard starting with pre-game at 1:15 here on 95.3 WIKI.
