Boys Varsity Football:

Connersville took down Muncie Central 54-21 in the first round of Sectional 21.

Jennings County fell to Martinsville 42-11 in the first round of Sectional 23.

Madison fell to Mooresville 48-0 in the first round of Sectional 23.

Switzerland County lost to Triton Central 50-0 in the first round of Sectional 39.

Scottsburg advanced without playing in their sectional due to Rushville forfeiting for COVID-19 reasons.

Carroll County defeated Gallatin County 13-7.

Trimble County lost to Morgan County 33-20.

Cross Country:

Shawe Cross Country runner Calli Alderman competed at the Brown County Semi-State meet on Saturday. Alderman won the 18th place overall ribbon in the field of 178 runners. She became the 1st Shawe runner in 47 years to advance to State and the first female runner ever to do so. Calli will run in the State Final Meet next Saturday in Terre Haute.
