Gatlinburg-Pittman High School's music program
Blake Shelton is making a large donation to a Gatlinburg high school following the opening of his new restaurant in the city.
Ole Red Gatlinburg celebrated a week-long grand opening last week with events and performances.
During that time, Shelton raised nearly 30-thousand dollars for Gatlinburg-Pittman High School's music program.
Ryman Hospitality Properties jumped in and donated another 25-thousand dollars do the cause.

The legislation would give school districts the ability to use existing resources as a new revenue stream.
Cincinnati's next music venue will sit adjacent to Riverbend Music Center.
The proposal is heading to the full Senate for further consideration.
