Chris Stapleton is clearing some room on his shelf for several Billboard Music Awards. Ahead of last night's show in Las Vegas, Stapleton was awarded the prize for Top Country Artist, Top Country Male Artist and Top Country Album. Maren Morris won Top Country Female Artist, Florida Georgia Line was named the Top Country Duo/Group and Luke Bryan was honored for having the Top Country Tour.
Not only is Maren Morris celebrating a BBMA win, she's also getting some love from the host of the award's show. Kelly Clarkson kicked things off last night by performing a mashup of hits, including "My Church." The cameras panned to Morris, who looked shocked to see Clarkson singing her breakout single.
Maren Morris was a star during last night's Billboard Music Awards, albeit a pop star. The country music hit-maker teamed up with fellow musicians Zedd and Grey to perform their hit, "The Middle." It was the first time Morris and the boys had performed the song on live television.
