Alexis Stephenson Elected To Serve as Kentucky FFA Northern KY State Vice President

(Carroll County, Ky.) – Carroll County’s Alexis Stephenson was elected to serve as the 2020-21 Kentucky FFA Northern Kentucky State Vice President.

Stephenson, the daughter of Shawn and Victoria Stephenson of Carrollton, was one of 23 candidates who ran for State Office from across the Commonwealth.

Selected by a Nominating Committee made up of graduating senior FFA members and elected unanimously by the delegate body, Stephenson will now complete extensive training following her election.

State FFA Officers travel thousands of miles representing the State Association at local and regional FFA events, agricultural meetings, and various other functions across the state.

Kentucky FFA is currently in its 92nd year which will end with a convention on June 8 through 10, 2021 in Lexington.

Kentucky FFA is an organization of over 14,000 middle and high school students enrolled in Agriculture Education courses. The organization currently has 158 chapters in 115 counties.

Nationally, FFA has over 700,170 members in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.  The FFA mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
