Police are asking for the public's help

                                    abuse

On October 14, 2021, Deputies with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office responded to Country Manor St. in Country Squire Lakes in reference to deceased dog in a ditch. Upon arrival, Deputies determined that the dog, which appeared to be a black Pitbull, had suffered severe burns all over its body. The investigation revealed that the dog appeared to have been drug to the area with a rope or possibly a leash after being set on fire.
