 
                            Foot pursuit leads to arrest of Deputy man
On April 20, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a disturbance on Blocher Road. Upon their arrival a male began running away from the residence.
 A short foot pursuit resulted in the arrest of Chris Tharp, 33, of Deputy for Domestic Battery, Fleeing Law Enforcement and an out of county warrant.

 On April 21, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office observed suspicious behavior coming from inside a vehicle parked at the Taco Bell. After checking the suspicious activity Derek Shelton, 30, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
