PMC Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine at 311 E. Clifty Drive

Baptist Health has acquired PMC Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine at 311 E. Clifty Drive in Madison, Indiana. Effective Monday, Dec. 2, the location will officially reopen to the public as Baptist Health Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine and will be available for patients whether the need is immediate or work-related care.

“We are excited about this growth opportunity that will service those in Madison and the surrounding areas,” said Matt Bailey, interim hospital president of Baptist Health Floyd. “Through this development, Baptist Health can continue to provide quality, comprehensive care to the residents of Southern Indiana.”

Baptist Health Urgent Care providers treat patients with common medical conditions like cough, cold, flu and sinus issues, allergies, earaches, strep throat and the flu. Patients can be seen for minor burns or lacerations in lieu of going to the emergency room or for screenings like school/sports physicals as well. With the exception of major holidays, hours of operation are:

  • Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Online check-in is available at BaptistHealthClinics.com for an option for patients wanting to hold their urgent care appointment spot in line while waiting somewhere they feel more comfortable. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Baptist Health Occupational Medicine provides useful employer services such as Department of Transportation (DOT) screenings, drug screenings, immunizations, a work injury clinic for employees hurt on the job and more.

Primary care will no longer be a service provided at this location, however, anyone seeking a primary care provider through Baptist Health Medical Group can call 1.844.6BAPTIST for more information.
