The closure will take place between South Hunter Road and County Road West 350 South located between Lexington and Swanville. S.R. 356 is expected to reopen in mid-June, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows S.R. 203 to S.R. 56 to S.R. 62.

This work is part of a contract awarded to E&B in September 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
