Early Voting Begins In Indiana Today

Information for Jefferson and Ripley County voters.

(Madison, Ind.) – Registered voters in both Jefferson and Ripley County are able to start voting today for the November 3 election.

The Voter Registration Office announced that anyone who would like to take advantage of early in-person voting may do so, there does not need to be a reason to cast an early vote.

Early voting will take place daily from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Voters may also vote at the courthouse on Saturday, October 24 and October 31 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Other early voting locations around the county will be opening next week.

Ripley County voters can cast their votes in the Election Room in the Ripley County Courthouse Annex.

Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until election day. Also, Saturday, October 24, and Saturday, October 31 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The final opportunity to vote early is Monday, November 2 from 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon.

The office will be closed on Monday, October 12 for the observance of Columbus Day.
