Historic Madison Inc. Announces July Tour Schedule

(Madison, IN) - Historic Madison Inc. has released its July tour schedule, offering a variety of guided experiences through some of the city’s most treasured historic sites.

Visitors can explore the Costigan House on Mondays at 10:30 a.m., and tour Dr. Hutchings’ Office Mondays and Fridays at 11:30 a.m. The Shrewsbury-Windle House will host tours Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 1:30 p.m., while the Schroeder Saddletree Factory Museum will open for tours on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 3 p.m.

Additional highlights include a tour of the Sullivan House on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., a special one-day tour of St. Michael the Archangel on July 12 at 10 a.m., and a free Architectural Walking Tour on July 19 at 10 a.m., beginning at the HMI Office at 301 W Second Street.

There will be no tours on July 4 or 5. Special walk-up tour hours are planned for July 10, 24, and 31 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Schroeder Saddletree Factory and Shrewsbury-Windle House to welcome American Cruise Line guests and the public. Group tours are available with at least two weeks’ notice. No reservations are required for public tours, and payment will be taken on-site.
