A lifetime dream is coming true for Nashville recording artist JD Shelburne whom has ties to Wiki Country
Will make his Official Grand Ole Opry debut at the Opry House this upcoming Saturday, July 5 at 7 pm central time / 8pm eastern time.
JD stated: “The biggest achievement of my musical career is happening! I am still at a loss for words. Friday, June 20, I received an invitation from the Grand Ole Opry to make my Opry debut on July 5! My heart jumped out of my chest! I have been praying for this opportunity for many years, putting so much time into traveling, playing shows, and building a career I always dreamed would be Opry-worthy. And here we are! Nothing could make me happier than this opportunity to share it with you, my dear friends and fans, the people who have taken this journey with me, supported me, loved and supported this Kentucky native's dream. And this is your debut as much as mine, as we did it together. When I step into that Circle, where all the Opry legends have stood, I know I'll see so many of your faces, and whether or not you can attend in person, this is our moment. I look forward to celebrating this special night with all my friends, fans, and family. It's going to be an emotional night!”
Additional performers in the OPRY 100 Show will include Whisperin' Bill Anderson, Crystal Gayle, Gary Mule Deer, Kylie Frey, The Malpass Brothers, Opry Square Dancers, Don Schlitz, and Steve Wariner
