(Jefferson County, Ind.) - The Jefferson County Treasurers Office is reminding residents with outstanding property tax payment that the need to be paid by July 10.
Those who have not yet paid their property taxes will see extra fees applied on July 10.
There are multiple ways you can go about paying your property taxes, residents can use the drive thru's at both German American Bank, and Farmer's Bank of Milton. Residents can also mail their payments to the treasurer's office; Jefferson County Treasurer PO Box 99, Madison, IN 47250.
Residents can also use the drop box located on the front of the courthouse to submit your payments. It is asked that if you use the dropbox that you do not pay with cash.
Before making your payments, make sure you check your envelopes for multiple bills.
