Jennings Co. K-9 Helps Apprehend Two Wanted In Ripley Co.

Arrests made in Ripley Co.

On Sunday, deputies with the Ripley County Sheriff's Office served an arrest warrant in Versailles. The wanted female had 3 Felony warrants out of 3 different Counties. Ripley County Deputies were able to locate the female and take her into custody.

Ripley County Deputies then learned that another female in the home may have had warrants and began to speak to her. At that time the original female escaped their detention and fled into a wooded area. Ripley County Deputies then called for assistance from the Jennings Co. Sheriff's Department.

Sgt. Allen Ritchie and K-9 Vampir then went to the scene. K-9 Vampir was deployed and after an open area search K-9 Vampir was able to locate the female hiding and was able to apprehend her. The female was then taken into Custody and transported to the Ripley County Jail.
