Jennings County Sheriff Kenny Freeman stays true to his word on the battle against drug dealers.

Several arrests during drug sweep

On December 5, 2019, members of the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Team and SWAT team executed several arrest warrants for individuals dealing drugs in Jennings County. The arrest warrants stems from a lengthy investigation where members of the Narcotics Team oversaw the purchase of illegal drugs from the individuals arrested.

The sweep began at approximately 8:00 PM and all individuals were in custody by 10:15 PM. All subjects were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jennings County Jail where they are currently being held. A subject located at one of the residences during the sweep was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and was subsequently arrested.

Individuals arrested:

-Stephanie M. Crouch (age 37 of North Vernon)
Bond: 100,000.00
2 Counts of Dealing Methamphetamine - Level 4 Felony

-Rachael E. Lee (age 24 of North Vernon)
Bond: 25,500.00
3 Counts of Dealing Heroin- Level 4 Felony
1 Count of Aiding in Dealing Heroin – Level 4 Felony

-Ricky D. West (age 20 of North Vernon)
Bond: No Bond
2 Counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine
2 Counts of Conspiracy to Commit Dealing
Methamphetamine

-Nicolas J. Ezzo (age 28 of North Vernon)
Bond: No Bond
3 Counts of Dealing Heroin – Level 4 Felony
1 Count of Aiding in Dealing Heroin – Level 4 Felony

-Caleb Root (age 19 of Seymour)
Bond: 3155.00
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Paraphernalia

Sheriff Kenny Freeman would like to stress that “if you are dealing drugs in Jennings County…we are coming for you.”
