Kentucky State Police Arrest Owen County Man for Sex Abuse

All the victims were under the age of 12

OWEN COUNTY, Ky. (Feb 07, 2023) –On Tuesday January 24, 2023 Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a call in reference to an allegation of juveniles being sexually abused in Owen County.  The initial allegation involved a five(5) year old child as well as a thirteen(13) year old child.

Through out the course of the investigation Detective David Roberts conducted multiple interviews. The interviews included family members of the juveniles as well the suspect.  As a result of the investigation the suspect who was identified as Jordan Thomas, 26 year old male of Owenton, was arrested and charged with one(1) count of Sex Abuse 1st Degree Victim Less than 12 years of age. He was lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.

After the initial arrest Detective Roberts continued the investigation.  It was determined that there was an additional juvenile victim under the age of twelve in Owen County. 

On Monday February 06, 2023 Detective Roberts charged Mr. Thomas with the additional Owen County charge of one(1) count  of Sex Abuse 1st Degree Victim Less than 12 years of age.  Mr. Thomas remains lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
