Kentucky State Police Make Arrest in Child Pornography Investigation

Lengthy investigation led to arrest.

Carroll County, KY. (02/18/22) – A Kentucky State Police Post 5 Detective received information from another law enforcement agency in reference to a Gallatin County man possibly possessing illegal matter.  Through out the course of the investigation the detective was able to gather sufficient information to obtain a search warrant for the subject's phone. 

A forensic search of the phone resulted in Michael Darby, a 28 year old male of Warsaw Kentucky, being charged with thirty(30) counts of Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance By Minor Under 12.  Darby is lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.  Kentucky State Police Post 5 Detectives are continuing the investigation.
