Local Scott County Family Donates a Shipping Container Full of New Clothes and Shoes for Released Prisoners

The container will help prisoners after they are released

                                  scott county clothes

Scott County-A Good Samaritan family from Scott County recently donated a shipping container full of new clothes and shoes. When I say a shipping container full, I literally mean a shipping container full. The family also donated the shipping container as part of the gift.

The clothes will be given to prisoners who are being released that have lost all their clothing while incarcerated. It will also be given to released inmates who may be down on their luck and have no clothing and/or be given for inmates being released going to a job interview.

This gift was greatly appreciated by the sheriff as he stated, “there has been a huge change in Scott County, educating and giving job skills to inmates has been unbelievably successful and this will only enhance that progress.”

The donating family wanted to remain anonymous and said, “the thanks and glory all go to God.”
