(Madison, Ind.) – It is time to celebrate the Madison Consolidated class of 2020.
On Saturday, July 18 the school will be having a parade to honor the class due to the rescheduling of graduation because due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
Graduation will be held July 26th at 2pm in the gym at MCHS-attendees are by family invitation only. Those who would like to attend VIRTUALLY can do so by using the live link which will be posted on the MCS website Tuesday July 21st.
The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday starting at the high school. Community members are invited to stand and wave to the passing graduates.
The parade route is as follows:
- Parade leaves MJHS
- West on Clifty Drive to Hanover Hill
- Proceed down Hanover Hill
- East on Main Street to Vernon Street
- South on Vernon Street to Vaughn Drive
- East on Vaughn Drive to Ferry Street
- North on Ferry Street to Park Avenue
- Park Avenue to 2nd Street
- 2nd street to Baltimore Street
- Baltimore Street to Main Street
- West on Main Street to Cragmont Street
- North on Cragmont Street to State Street
- East on State Street to Michigan Road
- North on Michigan Road to Clifty Drive
- West on Clifty Drive to MCHS
