Keller arrested on auto theft and more

June 23, 2021, Madison Police investigated the theft of a vehicle from Chandler Chevrolet. The dealership reported a customer had taken a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu for a test drive, approximately three hours ago, and has failed to return it. Officers obtained vehicle and driver information and began observation.
At approximately 5:45 PM, Patrolman Cameron Blankenship located the Malibu Northbound on Michigan Road, near Madison Mobile Village. A successful traffic stop was executed and found the vehicle was being operated by Dillien L. Keller 25, Madison. Keller was the person who initially picked up the vehicle for the test drive. During the subsequent search of the vehicle, Officers located a crystal substance in the vehicle that field tested positive as methamphetamine..
Dillien L. Keller was taken into custody and charged with criminal conversion - unauthorized control of a motor vehicle L-5 felony and possession of methamphetamine L-6 felony. Patrolman Jared Sweet led the investigation with the assistance of Patrolman Blankenship. All charges against Keller are alleged and he has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
