(Jefferson County, Ind.) - On April 7, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of a burglary in progress on the 4000 block of Pleasant Road in Jefferson County.
The property owner who lives nearby informed Jefferson County Central Dispatch that he believed the suspects were still inside the residence.
Upon arrival, Deputies were able to locate Michael Alan Abbott,45, and Larry Shannon Moeller,42, both of Madison, hiding inside the residence.
The charges for the two are as follows:
Michael Alan Abbott was charged with Burglary (Level 5 Felony), and Criminal Trespass (Level A Misdemeanor).
Larry Shannon Moeller was charged with Burglary (Level 5 Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Paraphernalia (Level A Misdemeanor), and Criminal Trespass (Level A Misdemeanor).
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by Indiana State Excise Police and the Jefferson County Prosecutor at the scene.
