(Madison, Ind.) - On June 9, the Madison Police Department investigated a burglary at Chill Billy's 115 E. Vaughn Drive. On the same date, officers also investigated criminal mischief incidents at the Lighthouse boat dock and Skunk Hollow boat dock. Ropes securing the boats to the docks were cut, allowing the boats to drift downstream.

On June 14, the Madison Police Department investigated a second burglary at Chill Billy's.  As in the first burglary, merchandise was stolen from the business.

On June 15, Madison Police obtained photos of the suspects and posted them on the MPD Facebook page.  As a result, the photos were shared over twenty thousand times and the suspects were identified.

June 16, 2020, Lieutenant Dan Slygh located three of the juvenile suspects and arrested them.  The juveniles face both burglary and criminal mischief charges.  Lieutenant Slygh is being assisted with this ongoing investigation by Patrolman Chad Wehner.

The Madison Police Department thanks our citizens for their assistance.
