CORYDON, IND. – A Leavenworth man was arrested after leading an Indiana State Police Trooper on a brief pursuit in Harrison County late Saturday.

On March 21, 2026, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Trooper Nathaniel Newton attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a motorcycle traveling westbound on State Highway 62 near Water Street in Corydon for speeding. The driver, later identified as Rickie Lee Chambers Jr., 51, of Leavenworth, continued west before turning north onto State Road 135. • Ten counts of possession of a controlled substance (each a Level 6 felony)
• Dealing in marijuana (Level 6 felony)
