Veteran teacher chosen as top 10 of over 50 nominations
 
Madison, IN, January 9 — Prince of Peace Catholic Schools are excited to announce that Pope John Elementary teacher Mrs. Tammy Josephsen has been chosen as a finalist for the Reading League of Indiana’s first annual Reading Star Award. Over 50 teachers were nominated for this award based on implementing evidence-aligned reading instruction to their students. On January 14, three winners for this award will be announced and awarded $1,000 each. The administration and families at Pope John and Shawe are very grateful to have Mrs. Josephsen leading the way in the Science of Reading initiative that has been recently sweeping through the state of Indiana.
