Road Rage Incident Leads To Arrest Of Two

Officers estimated the speed between 70 and 80 mph.

(Madison, Ind.) – On November 17, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Officers Cameron Blankenship and Zach Nicholson observed a White Cadillac and Black Chrysler Eastbound on Clifty Drive at a high rate of speed.

Officers initiated a pursuit on both vehicles which turned North onto Wilson Avenue from Clifty Drive. Officers were able to stop the Chrysler as it turned East onto Scott Court from Wilson Avenue.

Officers estimated the speed between 70 and 80 mph.

The driver was identified as Keaton Sullivan, 18, of Madison. Prior to taking Sullivan into custody, officers noted movement in the vehicle by Sullivan. As officers approached the vehicle, a clear plastic baggie was observed on the floorboard with a white substance in it.

During a field test, the substance tested positive as methamphetamine. Sullivan was then taken into custody without further incident and charged with possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony) resisting law enforcement (level 6 felony) and reckless driving (class c misdemeanor).

At approximately 5:45 p.m., Officer Blankenship located the White Cadillac on Clifty Drive. A traffic top was initiated and after further investigation, it was determined that the driver was Joshua Kiser, 25, of Madison was the other party involved in the earlier road rage incident.

Kiser was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving (class c misdemeanor).

Both Kiser and Sullivan have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
