(Scottsburg, Ind.) - With schools starting to wrap up their final days, and that warmer weather coming in you can tell that summer is right around the corner.

With summer almost coming it is also a hard time for some of those kids who depend on the schools for their daily meals, this is where you can help.

The summer feeding program, which helps provide meals to Scott County youth from pre-schooler to 18-year-olds is in need of volunteers. Volunteers may assist as servers or bus drivers depending on which day of the week you or your organization participate.

"Your help is greatly appreciated as we are planning for a large number of children this summer," stated the program organizers.

If you are interested in volunteering you can contact Kim Richie at (812)820- 0909 or kim.richie@scottcountypartnership.org.
