Two students and bus driver to hospital to be check out
Awaiting more information from the Jefferson Co. Sheriff's Department and Southwestern School but this is what we currently have from a subject close to the school system.
A car t-boned Southwestern bus #4 just before 4 Tuesday afternoon on SR 56 and CR 1000W. The bus driver kept the bus from going over into ditch.
One student was reported taken to hospital by ambulance and a parent took their child to be checked out. One reported had sore ribs and the other hit their head on window.
The bus driver went to the hospital to be checked out (SOP) and is ok just worried about the students.
More information will be released when available.
