Accused of battery to his wife
Yesterday evening around 7:40 officers from the Madison Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Franks Drive in reference to a domestic incident that had already taken place.
Officers learned that 31 year old William B. Rose had battered his wife on several occasions including yesterday evening.
Though investigations it was learned that Rose had firearms and is a serious violet felon and a convicted felon.
Rose was at his place of employment and officers were told he may be armed with two handguns and would fire at officers.
The business was surrounded and officers contacted the supervisor who contacted Rose and talked him into coming out of the building.
Rose was put under arrest. Officers located a red bag that contained a leafy substance and a plastic bag that contained a crystal substance.
Rose was booked on preliminary charges of possession of a handgun without a licence, domestic battery, possession of meth and marijuana.
