From November 1 through January 2, 2024, Rising Star Casino magically transforms into “The Christmas Casino”.  This is the ninth year Rising Star’s incredible winter wonderland will wow kids aged one to 92. 

Hop in your sleigh and dash to Rising Sun for the opening ceremonies at 1 pm Wednesday, November 1 and stop by anytime through January 2 to soak in the Christmas Spirit.  If you’re in Northern Kentucky, catch our ferry just above Rabbit Hash.  It’s free, fun and a cool scenic shortcut all its own.

Your adventure begins as you turn off Indiana 56 on to Candy Cane Lane featuring 50 lit trees and poles adorned with red and white lights.  When you approach the main entrance, you’ll be greeted by eight LIVE reindeer (a huge favorite) and a 30-foot LED tree! 

Step inside the pavilion doors and be captivated by the starry sky, giant singing tree and frozen North Pole.  The tree comes alive near the top of every hour with an animated 12 Days of Christmas song.  And close by, is the Reindeer Quartet which sings a Christmas favorite near the bottom of each hour.  

Need a holiday gift? Stroll through the Christmas Market Village for a unique shopping experience.  

During select dates and times, there are character meet and greets with Santa, Cindy Lou Who, Buddy The Elf, The Grinch, Olaf, a new “mystery” character, a variety of live entertainment and free horse and carriage rides.  And Santa’s workshop is brand new this year.  So bring the camera and snap some pics for treasured memories with St. Nick and the holiday gang. 

Don’t forget the treats like candy canes, Christmas cookies, peppermint coffee and roasted nuts.  Plus, sample a few delicious holiday spirits including a Grinch Appletini and a Christmas Cookie Cocktail.
