THREE ARRESTED ON NARCOTICS CHARGES IN DOWNTOWN MADISON

ALL HAVE PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE OF GUILT

                                      

On 02/18/2022, Officer Curtis Shelpman of MPD led a narcotics investigation at a residence in the 1300 block of West Second Street. A search warrant was applied for and obtained, During the search of the residence, Officers located methamphetamine and paraphernalia associated with the use of methamphetamine. Three persons located in the residence were arrested. Cory L. Meadows, age 32 of Madison faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuna, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a syringe, and maintaining a common nuisance. Courtney D. Jines, age 25 of Madison faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia. Kendra L. Davis, age 31 of Lawrenceburg, Indiana faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, and visiting a common nuisance. All criminal charges are allegations and Cory L. Meadows, Courtney D. Jines, and Kendra L. Davis all have the presumption of innocence unless otherwise proven guilty in a court of law. Officer Shelpman was assisted by Captain Season Jackson and patrol Officers Josh Nolan, Ben Flint, and Graham Heffelfinger, along with Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies Laura Pickel and Brian Muldoon.
