Cards can be purchased at different locations

Trash cards for Jefferson County residents will go on sale in the County Auditor’s Office at the Jefferson County Courthouse beginning today.
Trash cards will also be sold at trash pickup sites throughout the county during November — Nov. 8 at Chelsea, Nov. 9 at Deputy, Nov. 10 at Dupont, Nov. 18 at Rykers’ Ridge and Nov. 19 at Canaan and Brooksburg.
Trash cards cost $50 per year.
All trash card sales outside the Courthouse must be by correct change or check. No credit cards will be accepted for remote sales.
