Two Louisville Men Arrested Following Two County Pursuit

(Scott County, Ind.) – Two Louisville men were arrested following a two-county police pursuit.

On March 20, First Sergeant John Hartman and Deputy Skylar Thompson assisted with an active vehicle pursuit coming into Scott County from Jefferson County.

The suspect vehicle was being pursued by the Hanover Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Upon entering into Scott County and traveling a short distance the suspect vehicle left the roadway traveling into a field.

The driver and passenger then exited the vehicle and ran from officers on foot. Shortly after both were captured leading to their arrest.

18-year-old Anthony Rankins and 18-year-old Donteregan Sanders were arrested for resisting law enforcement and out-of-county warrants.
