Worthville Ky Man Arrested on Child Solicitation Charge

Has presumed innocence until proven guilty

August 15, 2022, Madison Police arrested Dagin Priest 21, Worthville, Kentucky, on child solicitation charges.

Madison Police Detective Shawn Scudder led the investigation, in which Priest allegedly made arrangements to meet a fourteen year old female for sex.  Priest made arrangements to meet the fourteen year old in Madison, at a predetermined location. 

Priest showed up as planned, and was taken into custody without incident.  The subsequent search of Priest's person found him to be in possession of methamphetamine.  

Dagin Priest faces preliminary alleged charges of;  L-4 felony attempted child solicitation, L-4 felony attempted sexual misconduct with a minor and L-6 felony possession of methamphtamine.  

Dagin Priest has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.  Detective Kyle Cutshaw, Detective Ricky Harris, Chief John I. Wallace, Sergeant Seth Melton, and Sr. Patrolman Adam Guzman assisted Scudder.
