Madison falls to Salem 3-2. 26-24, 25-8, 14-25, 26-28, 15-6

Eminence over Carroll Co. 3-0. 25-8, 25-7, 25-7

 

HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER:

Madison boys defeat Southwestern 1-0. Gonzalo Lobato with the Cubs lone goal.

Shawe falls to Jennings Co. 2-1. Henry Grote with the Toppers goal.

Switzerland Co. girls defeat South Ripley 1-0. Matty Anderson with the Lady Pacers goal.

Carroll Co. over Walton-Verona 2-1

 

HIGH SCHOOL GOLF:

Carroll Co. boys were runner-up to Walton-Verona in the All “A” 8th Region Championship. Josh Adams with a 79 and Kennedy Daigle with an 81 qualify as individuals for the All A State Tournament in Richmond on September 7.

Southwestern girls golf shot a 181 to defeat Scottsburg (189), Paoli (205) and Clarksville (234) in a four-team match at Butler Falls Golf course. Bella Marcum and Ellie Foley each shot a 42 for the Lady Rebels. Scottsburg’s Avery Bottorff and Mckayla Barter were co-medalists with a 41.

 

HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS:

Milan boys over Madison 4-1. Quinten Humes won at number 2 singles for the Cubs, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL:

Madison 7th grade fell 16-8 while the 8th grade fell 12-8 to Seymour.

 

FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHT:

Madison @ Paoli, Crawford Co. @ Switzerland Co. and our game tonight, Carroll Co. hosts Ludlow. Pre-game at 7:15.
