Foster Mefford burns nets Hanover men take on Bluffton

After trailing by 41-38 to South Dearborn at half #1 ranked Southwestern blitzed the Knights in the second half 56-27 for a 94-68 win in Aurora. Foster Mefford burned the nets for a career high 41 points to lead the Rebels. Southwestern ends the regular season with a 22-1 record. The 22 wins is a new school record for wins during the regular season.

The Hanover women's basketball team had three players score in double figures Friday night but saw its 2018-19 season come to an end in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals, falling to Rose-Hulman in neutral-site action, 80-61.

 

The Hanover College men's basketball team will take on Bluffton University in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals at 5 this evening in the Collier Arena. Franklin College a up set double overtime winner over Rose Hulman last night will take on  Transylvania at 7.

 

Hanover women's lacrosse team dropped a competitive 12-10 contest in its season opener against Asbury (Ky.) Friday evening.
