Tourney time in Kentucky, Hanover athletics in Florida

KHSAA DISTRICT BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT:

31st District Girls: Carroll Co. advances as they defeat Henry Co. 58-44. Lady Panthers will play Owen County Tuesday night at 6 p.m. in semis.

Trimble Co. boys and girls host Oldham Co. in the 29th District on Tuesday with girls playing at 6 and the boys at 7:30.

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

Senior Alexis Nall garnered her third straight Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor and her sixth of the season.

Baseball defeats Northern Vermont-Lyndon in game 1 of a double headers 10-2 in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational

Softball defeats Northern Vermont-Johnson 14-0 as Junior Lilly Beurman tosses a no-hitter. Panthers fall in game two of the day in Clermont, Fla. 9-0 to Cabrini.

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL REGULAR SEASON GAMES ON TUESDAY:

Madison will try and end their 9 game losing streak as they travel to Jeffersonville. Cubs have lost four in a row to the Red Devils

Shawe hope to close out their regular season with their 4th win in 5 games as they travel to Milan who have won their last five games.
