HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Columbus East over Madison 64-59.  Daseia Jay 19, Lundun Perry 17 for the Lady Cubs

Switzerland Co. defeats South Decatur 71-38.  Aleiah Thomas 17, Jesse Duvall 13, Kyah Chase 10 for the Lady Pacers

Eminence over Carroll Co. 60-59

Trimble Co. defeats Villa Madonna 58-39. Shelby Wilcoxson 23, Danielle Craig 12 for the Lady Raiders

 

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL:

Southwestern wins their 6th in a row as they defeats Austin 71-41. Austin Kramer 22 points, Billy Eccles 16, Foster Mefford 14 for the Rebels. Southwestern now 11-6 on the season. Rebels travel to Milan on Friday for a Ohio River Valley Conference game which you can hear on 95.3 WIKI.

Floyd Central defeats Madison 69-63. Cubs fall for the second time in two games, now 1-3 in the Hoosier Hills Conference, while 10-4 overall. Mason Welch 22, Luke Miller 18 for the Cubs.  Madison travels to 3A #1 Silver Creek on Friday.

Carroll Co. defeats Eminence 76-48

Trimble Co. over Villa Madonna 74-62. Reece Webster 21, Dylan Jennings 14, Tate Ogburn 10 for the Raiders

 

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

Women's basketball defeats Defiance 86-49. Former Madison Lady Cub, Katie Hartman led the Panthers with 21 points. Hanover remains one game out of first in the HCAC at 9-1 and 10-6 overall.

Men's basketball were led by five players in double figures as they defeat Defiance 88-76. Kevin Williams had 18, Matt Weimer 17, Ty Houston 16, Mark Albers 14 and Issac Hibbard 10. Panthers remain two games back in the HCAC at 7-3 and are 13-4 overall.

Women's track placed 4th and the men 7th at NCAC-HCAC-OAC Challenge at Wittenberg University.

Men's tennis opened their season with a 4-3 win over Thomas More
