The adage may go, "it is hard to beat a team three times in one year," but the Hanover women's basketball squad did just that Tuesday night, defeating Bluffton in the opening round of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, 64-59. The Panthers were led in scoring by former Madison Cub, Katie Hartman with 20 points. Hanover moves to the conference semi-finals Friday night against Rose Hulman at Transylvania.

Southwestern boys’ basketball team remains the #1 ranked team in Class 2A with a 21-1 overall record. Rebels received 13 of the 15 first place votes.
