IHSAA Track Sectional Results, Carroll Co. To Announce New Boys Basketball Coach

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TRACK SECTIONAL:

 @ Jeffersonville:  Switzerland Co. edged out Madison for 3rd by 3 points. Lady Pacers 3rd, Lady Cubs 4th, Southwestern 8th and Shawe 10th. Jeffersonville was the sectional champion. Madison will send 5 girls to the regional next Tuesday at Bloomington North. Switzerland Co. advances 4 including sectional champions Leah Anders in the 800 and Aleiah Thomas in the high jump. Shawe will have two and Southwestern one advancing.

Southwestern over Christian Academy 14-3

Jeffersonville defeats Madison 11-2

Woodford Co. over Carroll Co. 20-3

Trimble Co. falls to Henry Co. 12-2

 

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

Southwestern falls to Rising Sun 13-0

South Dearborn defeats Madison 18-1

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TENNIS SECTIONAL:

Tonight @ 5 Southwestern vs host Greensburg.  Tomorrow the winner takes on Madison while Shawe takes on Jennings Co. both matches @ 5. Championship is Friday @5

 

Tonight at 6pm Carroll Co. will introduce the new boys’ basketball coach. The meet and greet will be in the school’s cafeteria.
