HCAC Championships On The Line This Week For Hanover College Athletics

Football team enters DIII poll

It is a big week for Hanover College Athletics as soccer and volleyball begin their HCAC tournament play and football this coming Saturday with a win at Rose Hulman, would win the HCAC Championship and the automatic bid to the NCAA DIII Tournament.

Women's soccer will host Franklin at 2pm on Tuesday while the men will host Manchester on Wednesday also at 2pm. Volleyball gained a first round bye after finishing 2nd, will take on the winner of the Rose Hulman-Defiance match Saturday at Transylvania at 5pm.

Hanover football for the first time this season received votes in the DIII poll. Panthers are 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the HCAC tallied three votes in the poll. Panthers have only allowed two touchdowns in the HCAC in 20 quarters while racking up 223 points against HCAC teams. This Saturday Hanover will travel to Terre Haute to take on Rose Hulman for the HCAC championship.
